WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?
The Slide Board – Hip & Shoulder, is a set of plastic slide boards that goes under the shoulders and the hips. It is used to slide people lying supine, horizontally across, to and from a bed to a trolley.
It can be used in combination with a Draw Sheet, Trolley Slide Sheet or Slide Tube. Suitable for small gaps between a bed and a trolley, but it must not be used for gaps over 15cm – 20cm / 6″ – 8″.
This product is sold as a set of 2.

The Slide Board – Hip & Shoulder, is suitable for people who need to be moved from bed to bed using a lateral transfer.

Remember: Slide the Patient across the board. Do not slide the board, with Patient on top, across the bed. Hand Slots are designed when carrying the board, not for when transferring Patients.
