WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?

The Sleep System Positioning Sheet is a thin, breathable sheet that is used in conjunction with wedges, plastic brackets, and other positioning aids that have hook tape underneath, to position patients in a bed.

Some therapists call these Receptive or Receptor sheets.

WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR?

The Sheet can be used for people living with disabilities, or people living with palliative care.

BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Place the three hook tape straps on the bed base. It may be possible to place these on the bed base without removing the mattress. Lay the Positioning Sheet on top of the mattress and thread the hook tape straps through the Triglides on each side of the Sheet.

Cleaning

CLEANING METHOD

Machine or hand wash. We recommend washing this product on its own, so that hook tape from other products cannot catch on the material.

MAXIMUM WASHING TEMPERATURE

80°C / 176°F.

DETERGENT

Use a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener.

DRYING METHOD

Air dry in the shade. Alternatively, tumble dry on a cool temperature and make sure the drum is cool.

CLEANING WARNING

Only use and store the product when it is dry.

Important

The Sheet will hold the hook tape in place for a limited number of applications. If the hook tape is re-applied to the same place on the Sheet, the adherence will eventually diminish. Because of this, we suggest rotating the Sheet to give it a longer life.
