Description

WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?

The E-Wedge is used to help secure a person’s legs in bed. It is made from firm foam, with convolutions to help with pressure care, and has a 4-way stretch breathable, waterproof cover. There is a zip underneath to remove the cover for washing, or you can wipe it clean. The adjustable webbing strap secures the E-Wedge to the mattress.

Comfort Cuffs are also available to help position the legs more securely on the E-Wedge. The Cuffs come in pairs, with three sizes available.

WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR?

The E-Wedge is suitable for someone who needs to have their legs held in a certain position in bed and while sleeping. This may be for help with posture for someone with cerebral palsy or other physical or neurological disabilities.

BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Attach the webbing strap around the bed mattress so that the E-Wedge is positioned correctly. Undo the Hook & Loop Tape and place the person’s legs on the E-Wedge, then reattached the Hook & Loop Tape.

Cleaning

CLEANING METHOD

Foam: Remove the foam and rinse in water.
Cover: Machine or hand wash the cover.

MAXIMUM WASHING TEMPERATURE

Foam: Warm.
Cover: 80°C / 176°F.

DETERGENT

Use a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener.

DRYING METHOD

Foam: Air dry in the shade.
Cover: Air dry in the shade. Alternatively, tumble dry on a cool temperature and make sure the drum is cool.

CLEANING WARNING

Only use and store the product when it is dry.
