The Non-Slide Chair Pad helps prevent people from sliding forward when seated in a wheelchair or most types of chairs, such as office chairs and recliners. The Pad can assist users to sit more upright, improving pressure care, posture, and breathing.

When a person slides forward in a chair, it can increase pressure on the coccyx area and may also affect breathing. Sitting in a correct position can also assist with eating compared to sitting in a slumped position. This product may also help reduce the need for frequent repositioning by nurses or carers.

WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR?

The Non-Slide Chair Pad is suitable for people who are able to sit with their hips positioned correctly at the back of the chair. When sitting on the Pad, it will be difficult to slide forward unless the person moves frequently or is very active in the chair. If the person is unable to sit still, the Pad may not be suitable.
