WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?
The Chair Wedge Anti-Slide Cushion is a non-restraint positioning aid designed to help reduce the risk of a person sliding forward or out of a seated position.
When in use, ensure the patient’s feet are supported on the floor or on wheelchair footplates, as appropriate. Feet should not be left unsupported or dangling above the ground. A Leg Support (sold separately) may be used to assist with lower limb support and help reduce pressure on the heels and risk of foot drop.
WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR?
Suitable for people who are at risk of sliding forward when seated in a chair or wheelchair.
BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The cushion consists of an angled foam wedge base with a convoluted foam upper layer for added comfort and pressure distribution. The four securing ties are used to fasten the cushion to the chair to help maintain correct positioning.
