Description

WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?

The Bed Side Wedges are designed to assist in reducing the risk of a person rolling out of bed. The wedges are contained within removable fabric sleeves, allowing them to be repositioned or removed as required when assisting a patient in and out of bed.

They may be considered as a positioning aid for people with reduced awareness of bed boundaries, including those with proprioceptive conditions.

WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR?

The Bed Side Wedges are suitable for patients who require positional support to help maintain safe alignment and reduce the risk of rolling toward the edge of the bed.

BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Position one set of wedges on the mattress so they are placed along the sides of the patient to provide boundary support. A second set may be positioned lower on the bed to help support the legs and feet and reduce movement toward the edge of the mattress.

Once fitted, the bed can be made in the usual manner with sheets and blankets placed over the wedges.

WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT MADE FROM?

Foam, material, plastic.
