WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?
The Bed Side Wedges are used to help prevent someone from falling out of bed. The Wedges are in ‘sleeves’ and they can be easily removed when getting the Patient out of bed.
They may be an alternative to restraining for people suffering a proprioceptive condition.
WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR?
The Bed Side Wedges are suitable for Patients who need a reminder not to roll out of bed.
BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
One set is fastened to the mattress so the Wedges are positioned to protect the Patient from rolling off the edge, with the second set fastened lower down the bed to help prevent the Patient’s legs and feet from moving off the edge of the mattress.
After fitting both sets of Wedges, the bed is made as normal, with the sheets and blankets placed over them.

Cleaning
CLEANING METHOD
Machine or hand wash.
MAXIMUM WASHING TEMPERATURE
80°C / 176°F.
DETERGENT
Use a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener.
DRYING METHOD
Air dry in the shade. Alternatively, tumble dry on a cool temperature and make sure the drum is cool.
CLEANING WARNING
Only use and store the product when it is dry.
Important
This product is considered a Safety or Positioning Aid, not a Restraint. When using this product, careful monitoring of the Patient is needed as they can still get out of bed if they want to.
Consult your Therapist before using to ensure the product is appropriate for the Patient.
