WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?
This product is made from 100% pure sheep’s wool. It is specially treated for hospital conditions to help prevent pressure problems.
The wool has a knitted backing cloth that allows air to breathe, whereas sheepskin has a leather skin backing. This product also has the added benefit of providing pressure care for the heels, elbows, hips, shoulders, etc.
The wool can be cut with a pair of scissors to make individual pads as required. After cutting, remove loose wool fibres by hand from the edge of the cut. Even after washing, some loose fibres may detach during the first couple of washes, but after this the wool should stabilise.
The roll width is 170cm / 67″.
This product could be considered a first line of defence to help reduce the risk of pressure sores.

Use a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener.
DRYING METHOD
Air dry in the shade. Alternatively, tumble dry on a cool temperature and make sure the drum is cool.
