The Wedge is covered in a special wipeable PVC cover for hospital use and is easy to wipe clean.
Attach the four corner ties around the main frame of the chair, i.e. not around the removable arms.
If the patient is susceptible to pressure sores, the Chair Wedge – Anti Slide (sold separately) when used back to front, may be of help

Standard Version: Wipe cover clean with a hospital grade disinfectant or wash up to 80°C (176°F). Air or tumble dry on a cool setting, ensuring the drum is cool. Ensure the product is dry before using or storing.
Heat Sealed Version: Wipe clean with a hospital grade disinfectant. Wipe dry. Ensure the product is dry before using or storing.
This product is to help with the prevention of pressure sores. Sometimes due to the patient deteriorating, the product may become unsuitable. Continuous monitoring is necessary and alternative products may be recommended.
