Use the Side straps with the Bosun Chair Sling to give extra stability for people who may not have enough trunk control and could lean sideways when in the sling.

This product is suitable for someone using the Bosun Chair Sling, but need extra support.
BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Simply lasso the longest loops of the side straps onto the space provided on the webbing belt on both sides of the sling.
Experiment when lifting to get the most appropriate loop section to hang onto the hook on the hoist spreader bar. The Side straps can also be used to extend the shoulder straps on the Premier Lifting Sling and other lifting slings. They will allow the sling to pick up from the floor with the person lying down.

CLEANING METHOD – SEWN VERSION
Machine or hand wash .We recommend using a Pelican Washing Bag to help contain the product.
MAXIMUM WASHING TEMPERATURE
80°C / 176°F.
DETERGENT
Use a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Fabric softener and excessive chlorine or bleach can damage any material, including Sling material. Slings should be continuously inspected for deterioration and discolouration, as this may be an early warning of possible failure.
DRYING METHOD
Air dry in the shade. Alternatively, tumble dry on a cool temperature and make sure the drum is cool.
CLEANING WARNING
Only use and store the product when it is dry.

No . They are a simple piece of webbing with bar stitching at certain intervals. You may find other uses for them.
