WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?
The Soft Hollow-Core Polyester Fibre comes in a 2kg / 4.4lbs bag. The benefit the Soft Hollow-Core Polyester Fibre is that it is possible to remove some of the fibre for particular pressure care and individual patient care.
When removing some of the filling, the hollow-core fibre does not move or migrate, unlike micro-polystyrene beans which move to fill the gap. Polyester is cooler and softer next to the body compared to foam or micro-polystyrene beads. There is also no noise from the hollow-core fibre, so if a patient’s head is resting on a Cushion, it will be quiet.
WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR?
The fibre can be used to fill the range of Pelican Sleep System Positioning Cushions.
BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Open the bag and take as much fibre as required. Reseal the bag to stop any insects, dirt or dust getting into the fibre.

Cleaning
CLEANING METHOD
Machine or hand wash.
MAXIMUM WASHING TEMPERATURE
80°C / 176°F.
DETERGENT
Use a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener.
DRYING METHOD
Air dry in the shade. Alternatively, tumble dry on a cool temperature and make sure the drum is cool.
CLEANING WARNING
Only use and store the product when it is dry.
