WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?
The Knee Separator is made of foam covered in soft interlock material, used to help prevent the Patient’s knees rubbing together when lying in bed. It will replace using a pillow and is easy to wash.
WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR?
Suitable for people who need padding between their knees in bed. The Knee Separator has also been used on some Patients sitting in chairs, and not just to separate knees, but also on the back of the leg to pad it from the chair frame. They can also be used on arms as protective pads.
BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Position the thick central part of the pad on one leg. Fasten the two soft elasticised Hook & Loop Tape straps to keep in position.

Cleaning
CLEANING METHOD
Machine or hand wash.
MAXIMUM WASHING TEMPERATURE
80°C / 176°F.
DETERGENT
Use a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener.
DRYING METHOD
Air dry in the shade. Alternatively, tumble dry on a cool temperature and make sure the drum is cool.
CLEANING WARNING
Only use and store the product when it is dry.
Important
Continuously monitor the person using this product to ensure there are no adverse pressure care issues.

Are the Knee Separators sold singly or as a pair?
Singly – you only need the Knee Separator on one knee, not both, to keep the foam in position.
