WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?
The ERCP Positioning Wedge & Straps are designed to assist with patient positioning during procedures requiring prone positioning with slight lateral elevation of one side of the body.
The product features a heat-sealed vinyl cover to support infection control and allow for wipe-clean use.
WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR?
For patients undergoing endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography procedures.
BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The firm positioning wedge is fitted with two long straps that are placed across the patient’s back and routed under the patient or operating table before being secured using the lever buckles.
The buckles are attached via loops designed to allow cleaning access around the fitting points with a cloth. The wipeable cover is constructed from a reinforced mesh structure coated in plastic to reduce stretching while preventing fraying, allowing the product to remain in place during use.
