WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?

The Head Ring is placed under the patient’s head when on the operating table to help reduce the risk of pressure sores.

This product has a soft vinyl heat-sealed cover for infection control.

WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR?

The three sizes fit paediatric to adult patients. Either the medium or large size is usually used for adult patients, depending on the shape of the patient’s skull.

BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Sometimes it is used to protect a patient’s ears. Place a medium or large ring under the patient’s ear to hold the head away from the pillow. It can be placed inside an empty pillowcase so the patient’s head is not directly touching the wipeable cover. Ensure the pillowcase is loosely fitted inside the middle hole to prevent the fabric from pressing against the ear.
