The Rollingboard is a lightweight board used for transferring a patient. It helps slide a patient from an operating table to a trolley, or from a trolley to a bed etc.
The Board is made from a firm foam, comfortable for the patient and strong enough to bridge a narrow gap between a trolley, bed or operating table.
To Use
Log roll the patient and place the board under them. Use the draw sheet the patient is lying on to pull the patient, and the board will roll across.
Pelican also offers a wide range of Slide Boards.
The Rollingboard’s outer cover can be wiped between patients with a Hospital Grade Disinfectant, such as Cliniclean made by Jaysol, and dried with a towel.
Remove outer & inner covers for hand or machine washing up to 60°C (140°F). Do not tumble dry. Dry with a towel. Foam board can be washed, hosed down or scrubbed, and then dried with a sponge or towel.
The inner cover can be removed by undoing the Hook & Loop Tape.
The outer cover can be removed by lining up the padding sewn into the ends, so they are parallel on the top and bottom and not curved around the edges. It is then easy to slide the cover off.
