Description
WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?
The Positioning Sleeves are low-friction protective sleeves worn over the hands and forearms when carers are required to contact a patient during handling or repositioning.
They may be used for the following purposes:
- To support patient skin integrity
- To assist with sliding under a patient when repositioning or assessing cushions
- To reduce infection transmission risk
If the patient has soiled bedding or clothing, carers may wear disposable gloves underneath the sleeves to provide additional infection protection.
The sleeves are manufactured from the same slippery, breathable material used in Bed Slide Sheets. They are designed to remain comfortable and breathable during use.

CLEANING METHOD
Machine or hand wash.

DETERGENT
Use a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener.
DRYING METHOD
Air dry in the shade. Alternatively, tumble dry on a cool temperature and make sure the drum is cool.
