This product can be hired. The way this works is:
- This product can be hired out when people need the James Leg Elevator – High for a few weeks.
- We invoice the product out when you purchase them. For cash sales customers we require payment in full.
- You return the product, and we process a credit note, minus the hire fee of $60 per week (or part thereof). For cash sales customers we process a refund.
The hire product will come with an oversized outer cover for Infection Control. The product must be returned in a clean condition with this cover still intact.

WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?
The James Leg Elevator – High, is a leg support pillow, or leg support cushion to elevate the leg. It is 100% Heat Sealed for infection control.
The Patient’s leg rests on a convoluted surface. These convolutions can help blood flow and help avoid deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR?
The Elevators have been in use in Orthopaedic wards for many years to help reduce or even prevent swelling in the leg.
BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Place under the leg. The foot will be raised about 40cm / 16″ depending on the length of the Patient’s leg. The Elevator has side walls to help prevent the leg from rolling off the sides. Place a rolled-up towel under the knee if the Patient’s leg needs to be bent or flexed.

- As of June 2024 the cost is $60* per week, or part thereof.
- You purchase the product outright, then we refund the difference when you return it.
- The product must be returned in the original vinyl cover.
- We do not cover return shipping costs.
