WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?
The Pelican Heat/Cold Pack – Pregnancy is filled with lupin seeds which effectively retain both heat or cold. They are lightweight with a low odour after heating, compared to wheat. Special sizes can be made to order.
Strong elastic Support Braces (also known as Suspenders) for the Pack are included to enable people to walk around while wearing the Pack.
WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR?
Heat therapy may help relieve aches and stiffness, while cold therapy may help ease swelling and pain. Both heat and cold therapies may help ease symptoms of arthritis. Some people may use a Cold Pack to reduce swelling, then after a day or two, use a Heat Pack to relax their muscles.
BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Always use a barrier between the Heat/Cold Pack – Pregnancy and bare skin. This is to help prevent burns and to help keep the Pack clean from things like sweat or moisturiser. A shirt, trousers, towel, tea towel, or napkin could be suitable.

Cleaning
CLEANING METHOD
Wipe clean.

DETERGENT
If cleaning the Pack is necessary, wipe it down with warm soapy water without wetting the lupin seeds inside.
DRYING METHOD
Redistribute the beans afterwards to prevent moisture retention. Air dry in the shade.
CLEANING WARNING
Only use and store the product when it is dry. Test your cleaning chemicals on a discreet area to make sure it will not damage the material.

Allergen Warning: This Heat/Cold Pack contains lupin seeds. Lupin is a known allergen and may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.
Note: The Support Braces must be removed from the Pack before putting it in the microwave or freezer.
WARNING: Pregnant individuals should avoid applying heat directly to the abdomen, as it could raise internal temperatures and potentially affect the developing foetus. Avoid placing the pack directly on your belly unless advised by your doctor.
