Description
WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?
The Wheelchair Tray is a hard wearing, lightweight plastic tray with soft elbow pads. The tray rests on top of a wheelchair or normal chair with suitable arms, and attaches with hook & loop tape under the arms of the chair to hold it securely in place.
The main part of the tray has a lower cut-out section so any liquid will be caught and not spilt over the side of the tray. This section has a non-slip grey rubber matting.
Tray accessories which you can select from the drop-down box are:
- Wheelchair Tray strap – This is a belt with an adjustable buckle which can be used to make the tray into a restraint. If you require this strap, then we ask for the General Public Restraint Authorisation Letter.
- Wheelchair Tray Bag – This is a bag which hangs from either side of the Tray.
WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR?
This product is suitable for wheelchair users who want a tray.
BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Attach the tray to the wheelchair using the Velcro straps. Attach the strap at the back of the wheelchair to help hold it in place.
The Tray is attached with small plastic parts in the tray.

Important
(Applicable for the Wheelchair Tray strap product only) – Restraints are a prescribed item. Care Facilities such as Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Aged Care Facilities etc., may order this item. For private sales to a family member, written authorisation is needed from a qualified therapist or medical doctor, approving the use of the correct Restraint for the patient’s current condition. Remember if the patient’s condition changes, then a different type of Restraint may be required. It is necessary to ensure the family are aware of the proper use of Restraints, as these can be dangerous if not used correctly.
