Vented Overlay Pad – Small – TR

WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?

The Vented Overlay Pad – Small – TR is a breathable, washable foam pad that can be used by children and some adults, who suffer from thermoregulation problems. It can be used on chairs, car seats, bassinets, strollers, baby capsules, high-chairs, etc., to help prevent overheating and perspiring.

The Pads are available in black or white. They are covered in a special fabric that is designed to wick moisture away from the body. This same material is used in some sports clothes. The white Pad may be more suitable for a child who is dribbling, as stains may show up more easily on black fabric. If dribbling and soiling is not a problem, a black Pad may be more discreet when in use.

Inside the Pad is a special foam that has ventilation holes to allow air to flow through. An internal layer of Thermoregulating (TR) Material on both sides of the foam helps regulate the body temperature. Some people call this Thermoneutral. Special sizes can be made on request.

As part of the Pelican Sleep System, the Vented Overlay Pad is compatible with positioning items such as the Sleep System Positioning Sheet, Body Brackets, and Wedges.

Also available: Vented Overlay Pad. This 100cm x 100cm x 2cm / 39″ x 39″ x 0.8″ version is for use on beds, and is large enough to allow the hip and shoulders of an adult to be on the Pad, and to reach across the bed to allow Wedges or Body Brackets to be placed under it.
