The Velour Wheelchair Footplate Covers are made from soft foam and velour. This provides a soft padded cover for hard footplates.
When fitted, the footplate is fully covered, both on top and underneath. This means that when the footplate is raised, the cover will still protect the patient as they get in and out of the wheelchair.
To Fit
Simply undo the Hook & Loop Tape, slip the Velour Wheelchair Footplate Covers over the footplates and fasten the Hook & Loop Tape together.
Our standard size is suitable for a large variety of wheelchair manufacturers’ footplates. Special sizes can be made on request.
The Hook & Loop Tape Covers will wash without shrinking and when the excess water is squeezed out, they will dry quickly ready for use.
