Although this item is available, most of our customers prefer the Stand-Up Chair Alarm because it does not require a belt. It also looks more dignified than this Lap Alarm. Also the chair you want to use it on, may not allow for this Lap Alarm belt to be attached at the back around the chair frame.

They will not make the carer stronger or fitter, but with correct training and use of the products, should make manual handling easier and safer for both staff and patients. Warning: In accordance with the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020, the button cell batteries are sealed inside the battery compartment with superglue. This is to prevent them from being a choking or swallowing hazard. The batteries are not replaceable.
