WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?

The Handi Lift Walk Belt for Ambulance Services was specifically developed as an ambulance service belt.

The Belts have two adjustable buckles at the front, and four large padded vertical webbing handles.

WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR?

This product is used to help frail people stand and walk. Depending on the person, one or two carers can support the person while standing and walking by holding onto the handles. The people using this belt may be being carer for at home, or in assisted living, aged care nursing home, skilled nursing facility, or hospital. 

BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Place the belt around the person and fasten the buckles. Fasten so that it is comfortable, either around the waist or under the arms. With correct training, the carers can then use the belt to help someone stand up and walk.

Cleaning

CLEANING METHOD

Wipe clean or machine or hand wash.

MAXIMUM WASHING TEMPERATURE

80°C / 176°F.

DETERGENT

Use a mild hospital disinfectant and wipe cleaner, or use a detergent for washing. Do not use fabric softener.

DRYING METHOD

Air dry in the shade. Alternatively, tumble dry on a cool temperature and make sure the drum is cool.

CLEANING WARNING

Only use and store the product when it is dry.
