The Foot Everter/Inverter Strap is designed to help when walking with a patient.
To Use
The foot loop is fitted around the patient’s foot. Pull the loop to be a firm fit with the adjusting part of the strap passing under the foot and up to the strap buckle. The strap buckle is located on the top part of the Strap that becomes the hand loop. By adjusting the strap buckle along the strap, the Carer can move the patient’s foot correcting any eversion/inversion when walking.
Other Pelican products such as the the Handi Lift Walk Belt or Soft Transfer Belt (both sold separately) may assist when using the Foot Everter/Inverter Strap. These belts are quick fitting items that give extra security when walking, by providing webbing handles at the patient’s waist.
