WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?

The Bed Step – Two Steps is designed to assist patients when getting into or out of bed. It is particularly useful when the bed cannot be lowered sufficiently, such as when an overlay pressure mattress increases bed height.

The Steps may also be used to assist with access to ambulance trolleys.

They feature medical-grade, heat-sealed wipeable vinyl covers and non-slip bases to help prevent movement during use.

Two height options are available:

One Step – 10cm / 4″ height
Two Steps (this product) – dual-level 10cm / 4″ and 20cm / 8″ heights

The choice between the One Step and Two Steps depends on the height of the bed.

Suitable for people who require steps to assist with getting into or out of bed.

BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Position the Bed Steps beside the bed so the patient can step onto the first level while facing the head of the bed. The person may steady themselves using the mattress if required. Ensure the heels remain in front of the marked line. The Steps are large enough to accommodate both feet.

The patient may then shuffle forward onto the second step before performing a quarter turn to position themselves for sitting on the side of the bed.
