The Bed Side Helper can help people getting in and out of bed. It reminds where the edge of the mattress is and prevents rolling out of bed. The frame is made from a strong poly-carbonate plastic that is easy to wipe clean.

You can use the Helper on almost any bed that has a separate mattress and base. Make the bed as normal leaving the Helper in place, or remove it during the day.

This product may help you if you suffer from a proprioceptive condition.

Two Cover options

Standard Cover  A washable foam padded velour cover with a pocket on the outside for storing small items like a Touch Alarm Box, Bed Remote, Mobile Phone, TV Controller, etc.

Thick Padded Cover  Helps protect people who may have an epileptic seizure or other uncontrollable movements. Made from thick convoluted foam with a soft velour outer cover that has a pocket on the outside. The hand slot is covered to prevent hands getting caught.

The Bed Side Helper is easy to place under a mattress and has two height settings. A Health Care Professional can help determine the most suitable position. They may place the Helper near the shoulder, elbow, or leg.

USING MULTIPLE BED SIDE HELPERS

More than one Bed Side Helper can be used, e.g. one near the shoulders and another near the legs. You can also have one on each side of the bed. To do this you can either purchase a Security Strap with Loop to connect them (see photo).

USING ON SPECIAL LOW BEDS

The Bed Side Helper extends 11cm / 4.3″ lower than the mattress base. If required for a low bed that is very close to the floor, please contact us. We can customise the Helper to suit your requirements.
