When placing orders, we store your details on your invoice. This is a legal requirement for taxation purposes, as well as being a Quality Assurance requirement.
Pelican does not encourage, assist in, condone or participate in spreading unsolicited emails or other such intrusive campaigns. We find it as annoying as you do! Under no circumstances will your details ever be sold or given away.
We have an eNewsletter which we send out about once a month. It contains information on new products, product updates or changes, etc. Although our customers are always happy to receive it, by law we cannot add your email address to the list of recipients - you have to email us requesting to be put on the list. A subscription box is on our Home Page. Health care is constantly changing and developing and our eNewsletter is a good way for people in the industry to learn about some of these changes.
Our website uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), an encryption technology that works with all popular browsers, so that only Pelican Manufacturing can read a buyer's information. We have also taken an extra step to ensure your transaction is secure: In addition to the 128-bit SSL connection, your order and payment information is split into two separate pieces of data which renders each useless without the other. This site also has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.

Pelican takes all complaints seriously, and we use them to look for opportunities of where improvements can be made in our products, services, and systems. Customers can inform us of a complaint informally or formally. We will review, investigate, and respond to all complaints and we will take action where deemed necessary by management. We are happy to provide written evidence showing how any particular complaint is handled to its conclusion and hopefully a satisfactory resolution.
