A Turning Sheet for your HoistPatent Applied For  At last a Sliding Sheet designed for your Hoist to do the turning of large and bariatric patients. This Slide & Turn Hoist Sheet is a development of our Slide & Turn Sheet. It is made out of a very strong breathable nylon fabric and has a special breathable foam pad to anchor the bottom of the sheet in place under the patient. This pad will also depress if there are any creases in the turning material, to help prevent pressure sores. A draw sheet, waterproof and absorbent pad can be used on top of the Sheet or underneath it. Many patients are using the popular Slide & Turn Sheet all over Australia, even in tropical climates. This development will reduce manual handling injuries considerably. The Slide & Turn Hoist Sheet can be used manually, but for large or bariatric patients, it will attach to most hoists, so the staff do not have to turn the patient by hand. The patient can sleep comfortably overnight on the sheet, sometimes turned without being woken by the Carers. The introduction price for the Slide & Turn Hoist Sheet is $145.00 Item 509H. New demonstration videosWe have begun filming for a new product demonstration DVD. As filming for each new item is completed, they will appear in the ‘Demonstration Videos Archive’ page as well as the products page itself, a few examples can be found here:
These videos can be used not only as a demonstration, but also as a training tool. That being the case, if you experience problems with these please let us know, or ask your IT department. For security purposes, in some cases they will need to change the settings so that you can watch the videos.
