Pelican-Announce - March 2006New Item - Handi Soft Turn Pad - Large…We have introduced a larger version of the Handi Soft Turn Pad, which can be sat on for use on car seats, dining chairs, etc, or it can be stood on for turning a standing person from chair to toilet etc.. The original one, which is still available, has a diameter of 45cm (# 519S, $84) - the new larger diameter is 51cm (#519SL, $89). Remember - this item is normally used with the vinyl side on the chair and the velour material on top. However, if the person is incontinent it can be used upside down so that the wipeable vinyl side is on top. Thank you to everyone who replied with feedback and suggestions. The item is still in development, and we will keep everyone up to date. We have been testing a prototype in many different cars and models. We are getting a list of suitable cars together so that we can tell people over the phone whether it will be suitable or not. There are only 2 or 3 which are two small. Seabird Rescue Slings…We recently made some slings for WA Seabird Rescue, who pick up sick and injured seabirds around Perth.
