Happy New Year!!!
We hope everyone had an enjoyable time over the Christmas break. Pelican resumed normal working hours as of the 2nd January 2002. We have not yet heard of any Eastern States facilities being affected by the fires at this stage, but if you are aware of any evacuations please contact us as we are eager to make sure that our emergency products are used properly and in a safe and effective manner.

Product Evaluation Form - We need your help!!!
As part of Pelican's quality control, we are constantly looking for ways of maintaining and enhancing our products' quality. We are introducing a Product Evaluation Form as a means of measuring our products' performance and also to allow us to identify any possible new items that may be in demand. By completing the form you will be helping both us, as well as carers.
You have two options for completing the form. You can either:
- complete it online by clicking here, or
- print out a copy of the form here and FreeFax it back to us on 1800 641 477.
All returned forms will be put in a draw to win a bottle of Pelican Port. We will be giving 2 bottles away. Feel free to enter with as many different items as you like (on different forms of corse!).
If you need any help on any of our products official name, please look at the information from our product brochure. The brochure is divided into one, two, three, four pages.

Medically speaking…
- The Black Death was the most infectious & most often fatal disease in history. It killed 75 million people and wipe about a quarter of the population of Europe between 1347 and 1351.
- In 1952 a 6.29kg gallstone was removed from an elderly lady in London.
- In 1989 the longest reported case of hiccoughing belonged to an elderly American man who had had an attack lasting 69 years and was continuing at 20-25 per minute.
For a laugh…
· A wife rings up her husband. "Do you want the good news or the bad news?" To which the husband replies "the good news." The wife responds: "the airbags work!"
Well, that's about all for this month's edition of Pelican - Announce.
