Physio Body Anchor

The Physio Body Anchor is used to help stop patients from sliding down the therapy couch when the Physiotherapist is working on a patient’s arms and legs. This is particularly helpful when using the Physio Traction Belt, combined with the Brian Mulligan Method.
Position the padded metal loop firmly under the axilla, or in the groin and pass the webbing under the front of the couch, wrap the webbing around the framework a couple of times and then buckle together. Adjust the webbing and, if necessary ask the patient to shuffle down the couch so the Anchor is kept firmly in place.
When placing the Anchor in the groin, position the straps under the patient, not across their chest.
Regularly inspect the webbing and buckle for signs of wear.
WARNING - Inspect buckles before use. They are made from Delrin® a strong material but may break if mistreated.
