Netting Heel and Elbow Pads
Item # 148
Open the netting and foam side pieces and then slide the pad into position on either elbow or heel as needed. When in position make sure the pad is open properly and is comfortable on the patient.
With some patients, this product may not be suitable as they may slip around the ankle or the netting may cut into the skin. The Pelican Convoluted Foam Heel & Elbow Pads, the Convoluted Foam Heel & Elbow Pads - Covered, Wool Heel & Elbow Protector, or the Pressure Relief Overlay Mattress may be better.
This product is to help with the prevention of pressure sores. Sometimes, due to the patient deteriorating, the product may become unsuitable. Continuous monitoring is necessary and alternative products may be recommended.
Washing: Hand or machine wash only, up to 80°C. Do not tumble dry or wring - air dry only.
