This large Pad is used to slide sitting people to and from cars, chairs etc., combined with one of the Pelican Slide Boards.
Two Pads can be used for moving people who are lying down to move them across from a Shower Trolley, Operating Table, Bed, etc. One Pad is placed under the hips and the other under the shoulders. Depending on the weight of the person, one, though preferably two Carers, can pull the handles to slide across on top of the Slide Boards. Made from a wipeable Mediflex vinyl on one side and a strong slippery nylon on the other with a foam padded centre. Consult your Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Back Care Specialist when using Manual Handling Products.
Washing: Spray & wipe clean with disinfectant or hand or machine wash cover only, up to 80°C. Do not tumble dry or wring - air dry only.
